Every year, thousands of medical students in Ukraine face Krok 1 with overwhelming anxiety. Most students receive massive compiled PDFs containing thousands of questions, often with mistranslations and zero explanatory context.

Phase 1: Baseline Diagnostic. Never start by cramming. Take a complete 150-question past exam under timed conditions. Identify your weakest foundational disciplines immediately (e.g. Biochemistry vs Microbiology).

Phase 2: Targeted Remediation. When you get a question wrong, do not just read the correct answer. You must understand the underlying physiological mechanism. What enzyme was inhibited? What tract was damaged?

Phase 3: High-Yield Repetition. Certain topics repeat in nearly every booklet: sickle cell anemia mutations, organophosphate poisoning, diphtheria toxin mechanisms. Master these high-frequency scenarios first.

Phase 4: Exam Simulation. Two weeks before the exam, train your pacing. Complete 150 questions in under 2 hours without distractions. Build endurance so fatigue does not cost you marks in the final 30 questions.
